Facilities We Serve

Mobile vascular imaging for the facilities that order it.

Salem Vein & Vascular Mobile Imaging works inside your building. Below is how we typically fit into each type of facility we partner with across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana — from Cook, Will and DuPage counties in Illinois through Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties in Indiana.

How we work with each facility type.

Vein Clinics

Vein practices need reflux mapping done properly and procedure days that never lose their technologist. We provide standing reflux protocols with documented reflux times and vein diameters, plus procedure day imaging support, and we can cover recurring clinic days under a longer staffing contract.

Cardiology Offices

Cardiology practices use us to absorb overflow echo and vascular volume without adding a room or a full-time sonographer. Carotid duplex, echocardiography and arterial studies are performed in your own exam rooms on the days you schedule us.

Primary Care Offices

For a primary care office, referring a patient out for vascular imaging usually means weeks of delay and a study you never see the images from. We bring carotid duplex, ABI testing and aortic evaluation into the office so the study happens close to the visit that prompted it.

Nephrology Offices

Dialysis access work depends on mapping performed to the surgeon's protocol with consistent measurement locations. We perform pre-operative access mapping and fistula maturation studies on worksheets built for access planning, not generic venous forms.

Hospitals

Hospitals bring us in for coverage gaps — vacation, leave, unfilled vascular positions — and for bedside studies on units where transport is difficult. RVT staffing contracts run in three, six or nine month terms so coverage can be planned rather than improvised.

Outpatient Imaging Centers

Imaging centres use our technologists to add vascular capability without recruiting for it. We can cover specific vascular days, support procedure schedules, or provide longer-term RVT staffing while you build an internal team.

Skilled Nursing Facilities

Transporting a resident for a DVT study consumes a day of staff time and is hard on the resident. Our technologists work at the bedside, complete the study in the room, and leave with images ready for the physician to interpret.

Rehabilitation Centers

Rehab populations generate frequent DVT and circulation questions, often urgently. On-site imaging keeps residents in therapy instead of in a transport van, and keeps the ordering physician supplied with complete studies.

Podiatry Offices

Podiatry and wound care programmes order arterial studies constantly and rarely staff a vascular technologist. We schedule around your clinic day so a patient with a non-healing wound can have arterial duplex and ABI testing during the same visit.

Vascular & Interventional Practices

Interventional practices get the full range: pre-procedure mapping, procedure day imaging support, post-procedure follow-up studies, and technologist coverage when your own staff are stretched across sites.

Other Medical Specialists and Physician Practices

If your patients need ultrasound and your office does not perform it, the arrangement is the same: we arrive with the equipment and a credentialed technologist, work in your rooms, and document the study for your interpreting physician. Call us and we will tell you honestly whether we cover the study you need.

Where we travel

Our technologists work out of Orland Park, Illinois and cover the southwest suburbs, the city of Chicago, and the collar counties — Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Palos Heights, Joliet, Naperville, Oak Brook, Elgin, Aurora and Evanston among them.

Northwest Indiana coverage extends across Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties, including Hammond, Munster, Schererville, Merrillville, Crown Point, Gary, Valparaiso and Michigan City. If your facility sits near the edge of that footprint, call us and we will tell you plainly whether we can cover you.
