Mobile Abdominal Aortic Ultrasound Evaluation
An abdominal aortic ultrasound images the abdominal aorta and measures its diameter along its length to evaluate for aneurysmal dilatation or abnormal enlargement.
How we perform this study at your facility
AAA evaluation is a short, well-tolerated study, which makes it a natural fit for mobile delivery to primary care offices, senior living communities and skilled nursing facilities where transport is the main obstacle to imaging.
The same study is included in our preventative screening package for community and group events, though a screening look is not a substitute for a complete diagnostic study when one is ordered.
Measurements and images are documented for the interpreting physician.
Interpretation remains with the physician responsible for the patient's care. Our role is to deliver a complete, well-documented examination at your location — it does not replace evaluation by the patient's physician.
