Lower Extremity Arterial Duplex Ultrasound
On-Site Arterial Doppler and PAD Studies
A lower extremity arterial duplex study images the arterial system from the aortoiliac segment through the tibial vessels, using colour Doppler and spectral waveform analysis to document flow characteristics at each level.
How we perform this study at your facility
Podiatry offices and wound care programmes order arterial studies constantly and rarely have a vascular technologist on staff. We come to the office on a schedule that fits your clinic day, so a patient with a non-healing wound can be imaged during the same visit rather than referred out.
Arterial duplex is frequently paired with ABI and TBI physiologic testing; we can perform both in the same visit.
All studies are performed by credentialed, RVT-certified technologists.
Interpretation remains with the physician responsible for the patient's care. Our role is to deliver a complete, well-documented examination at your location — it does not replace evaluation by the patient's physician.
