Echocardiography
Mobile Echocardiography for Facilities
Echocardiography uses cardiac ultrasound to image the chambers, valves and walls of the heart and to document structure and function with two-dimensional imaging, colour flow and Doppler.
How we perform this study at your facility
Cardiology offices use mobile echo to absorb overflow volume without adding a room or a full-time sonographer; skilled nursing facilities use it to avoid sending residents out for cardiac imaging entirely.
We also perform a limited quick echo as part of our preventative screening package for community and group events. A screening echo is not the same study as a complete diagnostic echocardiogram.
Images and measurements are documented for interpretation by the reading physician.
Interpretation remains with the physician responsible for the patient's care. Our role is to deliver a complete, well-documented examination at your location — it does not replace evaluation by the patient's physician.
